Startup Tourism - Reykjavík

Startup Tourism is an innovative program that has been created by Íslandsbanki, Blue Lagoon, Vodafone, Isavia, Iceland Tourism and Icelandic Startups to help Icelandic companies in the tourism sector. It is a 10-week business accelerator program which is held in Reykjavík. During this period, the 10 selected companies get access to guidance, assistance, a workspace and other benefits, all for free and with no equity taken from them.

Recent years have seen a huge influx of foreign visitors to Iceland, creating both challenges and opportunities for Icelanders. To ensure a sustainable future for tourism in the country, it is necessary to improve infrastructure, promote private sector development and foster innovation. This is exactly what Startup Tourism aims to do by giving startups the resources they need to succeed.
