Codland seeks to drive forward the fishing industry through creativity and cooperation. Founded in 2012, the Iceland Ocean Cluster united seven fishing and marine-related businesses to create the most value from every fish caught. They believe it is their duty to make the most of each kilogram of catch. By enhancing the value, sustainability is improved and the raw materials are further developed. Their aim is to maximize the value of every part of the fish. Using groundbreaking biotechnological approaches, new and profitable products are created from raw materials that were previously underutilized.
