It is produced in Bolungarvík, one of the oldest fishing communities in Iceland located in the stunning Westfjords. Despite its isolated location, the town is easily accessible and is an ideal spot to observe the Northern Lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. The production facility follows strict European manufacturing standards and HACCP guidelines. Dropi is crafted using an ancient extraction method, a technique which was mastered by early Viking settlers over 1000 years ago. The cod liver is cold processed to maintain its natural properties and preserve the natural state of the Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A & D, ensuring no artificial ingredients are added. As a result, Dropi Cod Liver Oil is both an extra virgin cod liver oil and a RAW food supplement.
